At JT Custom Wood Designs, we have been in and around the construction industry for years. Owner Jared grew up in a family of general contractors, custom cabinet makers, plumbers and electricians and spent years focused on building and installing custom cabinets, doors, drawers and counter tops for both commercial and residential customers.
Recently, from a desire to move away from the standardized process of cabinets and counter tops, that focus has shifted to smaller projects, working with new and different types of woods to create truly unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. Our favorite to work with right now is a beautiful live edge slab of black walnut from right here in Central Texas.
We have items such as custom-made game boards (we love a competitive family game of Wahoo!), charcuterie boards, cutting boards, lazy Susans and various decorative shelving available to ship across the country. We can also create custom pieces designed to your specifications. In addition, we are available for local projects such as built-in bookcases and entertainment centers in the Austin, Texas area.
To put it simply, "We build the stuff."
